TOP: From Elizabeth and James (similar options above) // BOTTOM: Skirt made by me! (suggestions above) // NECKLACE: From BCBG (similar above) SHOES: From DSW (similar above) I’m so excited to share this post with y’all. I love skirts and this one is special because I made it!
During my freshman year at TCU, I took a Construction of Apparel class and learned how to sew. One of our projects consisted of creating a skirt. Taking this class helped me realize how fun apparel design and sewing are! In the slide show above, I added images of skirts that would also look good with the style sweater I’m wearing in this blog post. Anyway… skirts and boots are my absolute favorite combo in the fall. A skirt is a great transitional piece from warm to cold months. On colder days, I like to wear tights or stockings with my skirt. I’ve always been a boot addict- and even more so now that I’m in Texas. Finding a go-to boot is must! I love these boots because they’re neutral and can be paired with almost anything. My advice for boot shopping is to find a pair in a color and style you like. Boots are very versatile so chances are they will already go with a lot of things in your closet. I hope y’all enjoyed this post! XOXO B

Honestly all over... my favorite places to shop are boutiques because they have unique clothes and great deals on luxury brands. 50th & France and the Galleria have great boutiques!
