There is no garment I love more than a romper. They’re comfy, cute, and versatile.
My fab romper styled above is from Tobi! For those of you that are not familiar with the brand, Tobi is an online clothing brand based in L.A.
I styled this romper for a “going out” look. I could have easily styled this for day with a cute pullover sweater, denim, jacket, scarf, and ankle boots.
I especially love this romper from Tobi because it’s simplistic, yet makes a statement. Tobi’s is the perfect place to stock up on basic, yet trendy garments. Check out their site here to stock up on cute clothes for fall!

When I went to the opening of Neiman Marcus in Fort Worth, Texas, I was lucky enough to meet Jeffrey Levinson, the designer of the fabulous clutch shown above.
Let me tell you about Jeffrey Levinson: he is a gifted designer, who helped launch several new car models during his tenure at Jaguar, and in the process, reenergized the luxury brand’s image. With a love for fine objects, Jeffrey then launched his ingenious line of clutches.
What makes Jeffrey’s brand so unique is that he fuses both luxury car and classic art designs into one harmonious clutch. They are like nothing on the market!
The quality of these bags is immediately apparent with a supple lamb-skin lining safely cocooned within an aircraft-grade aluminum shell.
The combination of the sleek and eye-catching design of the clutches make them modern and timeless.
These bags are nothing like I’ve ever seen or felt before. They are unique to the core. I want one in every color!

Two major trends to lookout for are metallic and ruffles! I’m setting my own trend with polka-dots ;)
My black top, pants, and boots created a backdrop for my silver [statement] jacket. To tie everything together I fused in silver accessories.
Now that spring has sprung, a cool leather jacket is the perfect transitional piece from bulky winter coats. And with the bright days of spring, sunglasses are both a functional and stylish accessory that can be paired with any outfit.

I just love pom-poms! So when I saw this hat I knew it would be mine. My only dilemma was what to wear with it…
The hat has a playful yet sophisticated look, so that’s how I decided to style my outfit: I kept it playful by incorporating a textured sweater with pom-poms, but opted for more neutral colors to keep it sophisticated.
When wearing playful items such as this hat, the playful item should be the focus so tone down the rest of the outfit so it's not competing or distracting.
Of course I had to incorporate my favorite knee-high boots. It won’t be the last time you see these boots, they’re a major trend this year so I’ll be wearing them all season.

My coat is like a big hug :) Just looking at it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. It also reminds me of Yeti, the abominable snowman from monsters inc. See the resemblance?
Last week I went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida with my boyfriend and his family to cheer on his little sister (who's a straight stud) at the national dance competition hosted there. Being there brought back so many sentimental memories from when I was younger! We had a magical time.
Anyways... I love mixing different clothing styles together. Most garments can become adaptable to any particular style. For example, my fuzzy jacket alone has a boho vibe. But when I pair it with platform combat boots, it becomes edgy. One tip! When wearing something bulky balance with something fitted. I paired this fuzzy jacket with skinny jeans, or otherwise I would have really looked like Yeti!
Disney is full of fun, and your dress should be too! Have fun mixing and matching... And making your own magic.

What I love about fashion is that you can gather outfit inspiration from past decades. My inspiration for this outfit came from the 70s: bellbottom jeans, neckties, chunky belts and funky patterns.
My bag is vintage from Dior. A recent obsession of mine has been consignment shopping! You never know what unique things you’ll find.
This semester I’m taking a class studying fashion from past decades, so my new knowledge will definitely inspire more posts about old trends that are new again.
Have a groovy day! ;)

Winter can be hard to dress fashionable because in order to stay warm, you may look like a stuffed potato—and then feel like one too! During these cold months, I like to be warm but avoid hiding my outfit underneath bulky coats—unless, of course, I’m in my pajamas on the way to class! This outfit is an example of how to dress warm without looking like a marshmallow. I layered a cozy, turtleneck sweater under a warm and chic coat. And if I get too hot on top, my boyfriend jeans offer great ventilation ;)
I have a juicy secret— This coat is from Juicy Couture and I got it in middle school from a dear friend for my birthday. I love incorporating “vintage” pieces because, not only are they sentimental, but they can also be a fun statement piece that ties an outfit together, or just stand on their own.
Shout-out to Elise Hartwig for one of my favorite coats :)
Here’s a post for the guys to get a little fashion inspiration—because all girls appreciate a well dressed guy.
Meet my cousin Charlie. He is 17, a senior in high school and will hopefully be a future horned frog with me! (He was accepted into TCU!)

My biggest tip for guys is to layer. The more you layer, the more stylish you appear.
Charlie layered a t-shirt, quarter-zip sweater, vest and a scarf. Points for him.
If Charlie were to wear just a t-shirt…boring! Add a sweater…a little better. Throw on a scarf and vest…BAM! It really is that easy.
KNOW YOUR COLORS
Another tip is to wear clothes that compliment your coloring.
You know you’re wearing the wrong color if…
You know you’re wearing the right color if…
KNOW YOUR SIZE
It’s important to wear clothes that fit your body. Clothes that are too small are not flattering; clothes that are too big look sloppy.
KNOW YOUR STYLE
It's helpful if you have an idea about what style you like. Do you tend to be drawn towards more preppy, trendy, sporty or hipster styles? Shop at stores that have the clothes that match your preferred style.
Here are a few store suggestions you can shop at for your preferred style:
Preppy: Banana Republic, J.Crew and Ralph Lauren.
Sporty: Lulu Lemon, Adidas and Nike.
Hipster: Urban Outfitters.
Once you figure out the general look you like, it simplifies shopping and helps you establish an easy and stylish wardrobe that goes together.
Remember: no outfit is complete without a smile and of course, always be a gentleman. No well dressed guy is stylish if their manners are lacking. If you missed that post, click here.
Special thanks to Charlie for a fun photo shoot and Ty Dowda for the photos.

BRRR. The weather is really starting to cool off now. Although I'm not a fan of the cold, I am, however, a fan of cuddling and enjoying hot tea by the fireplace.
When I go out with friends during the colder season, I’ll typically wear an outfit as shown above—something with a little edge.
Bodysuits are a great garment to own because they’re so versatile. Wear it under pants, shorts, or a skirt (as shown above)—throw on a leather jacket, boots and voila! A perfect outfit to go out in.
A leather jacket is a closet essential. They can dress up the most basic outfit and give it an edgy vibe. I got mine from Blue Bird boutique on 50th & France.
Metallic and cheetah print skirt… if you know me, you know that I was all over this skirt! My grandma actually sent this to me, ha! She knows me too well.
Winter break is coming up and I have some exciting content planned. I can’t wait to share it with you all!

It was a wake up call moving from Minnesota to Texas because I realized I basically only have clothes for the colder months! I’m especially excited the weather is cooling down now so I can get a little more use out of my wardorbe.
This is one of my favorite outfits! I love mixing patterns and textures. The trick to mixing patterns is to vary the size and/or shapes. With more circular patterns, like camo, aim for mixing in smaller and/or geometric patterns such as stripes.
Next week I fly home for Thanksgiving break. I plan on spending time with family, friends, and continuing my daddy-daughter tradition of making pumpkin pie. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! If you have any favorite Thanksgiving recipes, feel free to share :)
